Job summary

dotSolved is seeking a Sr. Oracle Applications DBA to join our team. The role focuses on Oracle core DBA administration, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN backups, performance tuning, and EBS R12.2.x support. OCI experience is mandatory, including compute, storage, networking, and database services.

Additionally, strong SQL Server DBA skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude are required. The shift is 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST, with collaboration across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Oracle Core DBA administration.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and performance tuning.
• EBS R12.2.x administration and support.
• OCI experience including compute, storage, networking, database services.
• MS SQL Server DBA administration and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Oracle databases including RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN backups.
• Perform upgrades, migrations, and cloning of Oracle databases.
• Manage OCI resources and cloud services.
• Administer SQL Server databases and ensure performance and backups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear documentation.

Job Description

Position: Sr. Oracle Applications DBA

Shift Timing - 7.00AM - 4.00PM PST (US Pacific Time)

Mandatory Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Core DBA Administration,including:

• Oracle RAC
• Data Guard
• Performance Tuning
• Backup & Recovery (RMAN)
• Database Upgrades, Migrations, and Cloning
• Solid experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.xadministration and support.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience is mandatory,including exposure to:

• Compute, Storage, Networking
• Database services
• Backup and Disaster Recovery
• Cloud migrations and administration
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience, includingadministration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.

Must have exceptional communication andpresentation skills

Must have a pleasant and proactive attitude

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle Exadata administration and performanceoptimization.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible,etc.).
• Exposure to high-availability and disaster recoveryarchitectures.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with AI-driven databaseadministration, database automation, AI-assisted monitoring, performanceoptimization, or implementation of AI solutions within databaseenvironments is highly desirable.
