Job summary

Analytix Business Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Sr. Officer (AS287) to review and file US tax returns.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience and familiarity with CPA firms in the US would be advantageous. Primary responsibilities include forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S, researching tax topics, and ensuring up-to-date knowledge of IRS and state tax laws. The candidate will also help draft tax notices responses, compile required documents, and manage year-end 1099 filings.

Responsibilities

• Review and file individual tax returns (Form 1040).
• Review and file business tax returns (Form 1065, 1120, 1120S).
• Research complex tax topics on a case-by-case basis.
• Draft replies to Tax Notices and compile documents with IRS/state authorities as needed.
• Prepare and file 1099 forms for clients at year-end.
• Set up systems to expand tax department operations.

Years of experience: 4 to 6

Salary Range: INR 600000 to 780000 (Annual)

Position description: The person will be responsible for reviewing and tax filing, the person should have tax seasons for individual and/or business tax returns at a similar or equivalent position, Experience of working with CPA firm in US would be an added advantage.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review and file individual tax returns i.e. Form 1040
• Review and file business tax returns i.e. Form 1065, 1120 and 1120S
• Research on various complex tax topics on case to case basis
• Keeping upto date with changes in major tax laws, both at IRS and state level
• Drafting replies for Tax Notices and compiling required documents, including calling state tax authorities as well as IRS, in case needed
• Preparation and filing of 1099 Forms for various accounting clients at the yearend
• Setting up systems and processes to expand tax department operations
