What You’ll Do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Own API development, ensuring RESTful & GraphQL APIs are highly efficient and secure.
• Design and implement scalable database solutions using MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Optimize application performance, debugging, profiling, and implementing best practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs, microservices, and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Ensure security best practices, including authentication (OAuth, JWT), authorization, and data encryption.
• Write clean, reusable, and scalable code, following SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automated deployments.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams, ensuring seamless integration.
• Mentor junior developers, conducting code reviews, training sessions, and knowledge sharing.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Experience with authentication & security protocols (OAuth, JWT, RBAC).
• Proficiency in caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) for performance optimization.
• Knowledge of DevOps & cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and microservices.
• Ability to work in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
• This is a full-time position based in our office in Mohali, India.
