Job summary

Crebos is seeking a versatile Backend Developer to own backend systems using Node.js and Laravel. You will build scalable APIs, design databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL), and integrate with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Mohali, Punjab.

You will work in an Agile setup, implement security best practices, and drive CI/CD with Docker while mentoring junior developers and addressing performance challenges.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and/or Laravel.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and API versioning.
• Experience with authentication protocols and security practices (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC).
• Familiarity with caching tools like Redis or Memcached.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services and scalable architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker, Git workflows, and CI/CD integrations.
• Solid problem-solving skills and debugging proficiency.
• Understanding of event-driven systems and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka – a plus).
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and documentation habits.
