Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer in Pune to design and implement modern data center fabrics using Cisco Nexus 9K switches and ACI. You will work on FabricPath, VXLAN, EVPN, and spine-leaf architectures, supporting multi-site DC interconnects and complex migration projects.

The role requires deep knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, STP) and strong security concepts for data center environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9K and ACI architecture
• Strong understanding of FabricPath, VXLAN, EVPN and Spine-Leaf designs
• Proven DC migration project experience (FabricPath to ACI)
• Expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, STP)
• Knowledge of data center security and firewall integration
• Experience with ACI constructs: Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, Contracts
• Hands-on with Nexus Dashboard components
• Experience in multi-site DC design and interconnect (DCI)
