Job summary

Sonyo Management Consultants is seeking an Sr MuleSoft Platform Administrator Offshore to manage the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform across multiple environments in India. The role covers deployment, governance, security, and ongoing operations for CloudHub and hybrid runtimes.

You will work with Integration Architects, DevOps and security teams to ensure platform readiness for releases, perform troubleshooting, and drive optimization while maintaining robust runbooks and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with CloudHub and Hybrid deployments.

Responsibilities

MuleSoft Platform Administration & Operations

• Administer and manage the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform across multiple environments (Development, QA, UAT, Production).
• Configure and maintain Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, Design Center, Monitoring, and Access Management.
• Manage deployment, configuration, and lifecycle of Mule applications on CloudHub and hybrid runtimes.
• Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and availability to ensure operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot platform-related issues and coordinate resolution with MuleSoft Support and internal teams.

Environment & Release Management

• Manage environment provisioning, configuration, and access controls.
• Support CI/CD integration and deployment processes across MuleSoft environments.
• Ensure platform readiness for releases, upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate change management and production deployment activities.

Security & Governance

• Implement and maintain platform security controls including OAuth 2.0, Client ID Enforcement, JWT, SSO, MFA, and mTLS.
• Manage user roles, permissions, business groups, and environment-level access.
• Enforce API governance, security policies, and enterprise compliance standards.
• Collaborate with security and governance teams to support audits and regulatory requirements.

Monitoring & Performance Management

• Configure alerts, dashboards, logging, and monitoring solutions.
• Analyze platform metrics and proactively identify performance bottlenecks.
• Drive platform optimization, scalability improvements, and capacity planning activities.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

Platform Governance & Support

• Define and maintain MuleSoft platform standards, operational procedures, and best practices.
• Govern API lifecycle management and asset publication within Anypoint Exchange.
• Support development teams with platform onboarding, troubleshooting, and operational guidance.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge repositories.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Integration Architects, Developers, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams.
• Provide regular platform health reports and operational insights to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the MuleSoft platform landscape.

Primary Skills

• Strong experience administering MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, Access Management, and Monitoring.
• Experience managing CloudHub and Hybrid deployment models.
• Knowledge of Mule 4.x architecture and integration lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of API security, governance, and policy management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, messaging platforms, and enterprise integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning skills.

Secondary Skills

• Understanding of Salesforce, Siebel, Informatica MDM, or similar enterprise platforms.
