Job summary

Aviatrix is seeking a motivated Sr. MTS – Cloud Test Engineer to join our Bengaluru team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our cloud networking and security products by collaborating closely with engineering and product teams.

The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of experience in cloud networking or QA, a Bachelor's degree in computer science, and skills in performance testing and troubleshooting. You will work with various cloud technologies and assist in optimizing network performance.

Qualifications

About the role: Sr. MTS - Cloud Test

Aviatrix is looking for a motivated Sr. MTS – Cloud Test Engineer to join our Bengaluru team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our cloud networking and security products. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and product teams to validate new and existing features, execute test plans, identify issues, and contribute to improving product quality across cloud environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career QA engineer who is passionate about testing, eager to learn, and interested in working on complex networking and cloud technologies.

Position Responsibilities

• Performance Testing: Assist in designing, developing, and executing performance and scalability tests for network products to ensure they meet established standards.
• Utilize Open-Source Tools: Use tools such as iperf/ethr to measure and optimize network performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot Network Issues: Collaborate with teams to assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with engineering and QA teams to implement improvements in network performance based on test results.
• Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain detailed testing documentation and reports to track results and progress.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant Experience: 3+ years in cloud networking, QA or network engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, BGP, VPN).
• Familiarity with IPsec, BGP, routing protocols, and firewall appliances.
• Python-based test automation (pytest).
• Linux Experience: Good experience working in Linux environments and using command-line utilities.
• Performance Testing Tools: Familiarity with network performance testing tools like iperf.
