Job summary

RSM Astute Consulting in Mumbai is seeking a Transfer Pricing professional with 7–12 years of relevant experience to lead end-to-end TP engagements from planning to compliance and litigation support.

You will prepare transfer pricing audit reports, TP study reports, reconcile records with authorities, and draft intercompany agreements while using Indian and foreign TP databases; strong MS Office skills and research ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Transfer Pricing regulation and assessments.
• Preparation of Transfer Pricing audit report.
• Preparation of Transfer Pricing study report.
• Familiar with Indian and foreign TP databases.
• Knowledge of best practices in the industry.
• Ability to use internet for research.
• Preparation of income-tax computation and e-file returns.
• Reviewing data for scrutiny and assessments.
• Updating on case laws and notifications w.r.t. TP.

Responsibilities

• Managing TP engagement from planning to compliance to managing litigation projects and identification of international transactions and benchmarking.
• Review of Transfer Pricing audit report and Transfer Pricing study report.
• Representation before Transfer Pricing authorities for scrutiny, CIT appeals and assessments proceedings.
• Drafting intercompany agreements.
• Training juniors and reviewing their work.
• Preparing proposals and client communications.

• - Working knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulation and assessments
• - Preparation of Transfer Pricing audit report
• - Preparation of Transfer Pricing study report
• - Well versed with Transfer Pricing assessment and scrutiny proceedings
• - Well versed in using Indian and foreign TP databases
• - Knowledge of best practices in the industry
• - Preparation of income-tax computation, filling e-file returns etc
• - Preparing reconciliation between assesses records vis--vis communication from tax authorities
• - Good knowledge of MS office(Excel, Word and Power point)
• - Ability to use internet for research
• - Preparing and reviewing data for scrutiny and assessments w.r.t. Transfer Pricing.
• - Managing the entire transfer pricing engagement from planning to compliance to managing of litigation projects (including Identification of international transactions, computation of arms length price, selection of the most appropriate method, benchmarking
• - Review of Transfer Pricing audit report and Transfer Pricing study report
• - Representation before Transfer Pricing authorities for scrutiny, CIT appeals and assessments proceedings.
• - Review of Transfer Pricing benchmarking analysis
• - Drafting intercompany agreements
• - Constant self-updating on case laws and notifications w.r.t. Transfer Pricing
• - Review work done by juniors.
• - Preparing news articles/news flash.
• - Providing on the job training to juniors.
• - Participating in office meetings and presenting a topic.
