Job summary

You will work closely with R&D and Marketing to support product development and artwork approvals, with deep exposure to FSSAI, Codex, USFDA, EU guidelines, and licensing processes.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of FSSAI/EIA and Legal Metrology regulations.
• Ability to interpret regulations clearly and track new amendments.
• Experience in product labeling for domestic and export markets.

Profile – Regulatory

Experience – 10-15 Yrs

Primary Functions:

The Job holder has accountability for efficient monitoring and maintaining of food regulations and any updates that has immediate or in future impact on food products under domain. Development of products labelling considering all aspects what are mandatory to be declared, and considerations of any nutrient or health claims which may be given to promote the products.

A close co-ordination will be required with R&D and Marketing team for works related to helping in products development and artworks approval respectively.

Background:

• In depth understanding of Laws and regulations pertaining FSSAI/ EIA and Legal metrology.
• Must be skilled in clear interpretation of regulations.
• Exposure of regulations/ advisories established by Codex, USFDA, FSANZ, EU, GCC etc.
• Have experience in formulating product labels for domestic market as well as export market.
• Well versed with tracking, review and impact analysis of new amendments, notifications as and when proposed by regulators.
• Experience in Food licensing applications/ modifications and documents making as per requirements.
