Job summary

Adani Power is seeking a qualified Medical Officer to oversee the on-site medical center at our thermal power plant. You will conduct regular health check-ups, maintain records, provide first aid, and lead wellness programs in collaboration with the Site HR Head.

Role requires MBBS with Occupational Health preference; you will liaise with external facilities for advanced care and mentor first responders to ensure rapid and compliant medical response.

Qualifications

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
• Additional certification in Occupational Health or Industrial Medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the on-site medical center, ensuring it is equipped and staffed to handle emergencies and routine health issues effectively.
• Develop and implement health and wellness programs aimed at improving employee well-being and reducing absenteeism.
• Conduct regular health check-ups and maintain accurate medical records for all employees and contractors.
• Provide immediate medical care and first aid in case of workplace injuries or emergencies, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the Site HR Head to design and execute health awareness campaigns focusing on occupational health risks specific to thermal power plant operations.
• Liaise with external medical facilities and specialists to ensure advanced care when required.
• Train and guide first responders and safety teams on emergency medical procedures and protocols.
• Monitor health-related KPIs, such as incident response times and employee health indices, to support site operational goals.
• Stay updated on the latest medical practices and technologies relevant to industrial health services.
