Job summary

Adani Power is seeking a Field Medical Officer to manage the on-site medical center, oversee health programs, and conduct regular health check-ups for employees and contractors. You will provide first aid, coordinate with HR for health campaigns, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• MBBS degree required from a recognized medical institution.
• Additional certification in Occupational Health or Industrial Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the on-site medical center, ensuring it is equipped and staffed to handle emergencies and routine health issues effectively.
• Develop and implement health and wellness programs aimed at improving employee well-being and reducing absenteeism.
• Conduct regular health check-ups and maintain accurate medical records for all employees and contractors.
• Provide immediate medical care and first aid in case of workplace injuries or emergencies, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the Site HR Head to design and execute health awareness campaigns, focusing on occupational health risks specific to thermal power plant operations.
• Ensure the medical center complies with all internal standards and aligns with Adani Power’s focus on operational excellence and sustainability.
• Train and guide first responders and safety teams on emergency medical procedures and protocols.
• Monitor and manage health-related KPIs, such as incident response times and employee health indices, to support the site’s operational goals.
• Liaise with external medical facilities and specialists to ensure advanced care when required.
• Stay updated on the latest medical practices and technologies relevant to industrial health services.
