Otis India is seeking a Senior Manager – FED to lead Field Engineering in Bangalore. You will oversee technical support, issue resolution, field coordination and system handling across installation and service teams.

The role demands deep technical acumen, strong analytical skills and clear communication with multiple stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient and reliable elevator solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or related Engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in elevator, construction, or related engineering industry.
• Strong technical and analytical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for elevator installation processes.
• Read and understand layout and technical drawings to assist installation and issue diagnosis.
• Link between field team and factory team for resolutions.
• Upload all Field Turn Back (FTB) cases into the ETQ system.
• Troubleshoot field issues independently.
• Work with ride quality adjustments and measuring tools.
• Analyze PMT and Power Analyzer readings.
• Handle EMS and Compass system.

Role Overview

The Senior Manager – FED role is responsible for ensuring effective technical support, issue resolution, field coordination, and system handling across installation and service teams. The position requires deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and effective communication with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for elevator installation processes
• Capable of reading and understanding layout and technical drawings to assist in installation and issue diagnosis
• Act as a key link between the field team and the factory team for resolutions
• Upload all Field Turn Back (FTB) cases into the ETQ system
• Capable of troubleshooting any type of reported field issues independently
• Well versed with ride quality adjustments and measuring tools
• Analysis of PMT and Power Analyzer readings
• Competent in handling EMS and Compass system

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
• 10+ years of experience in elevator, construction, or related engineering industry
• Strong technical and analytical competencies
• Experience with installation processes and troubleshooting
