Job summary

Otis Worldwide Corporation in Bengaluru seeks a Field Service Executive to maintain elevator and escalator units across a defined territory. Your focus is safety and reliability while delivering on-site service and proactive breakdown response.

You will carry out maintenance visits, perform repairs, and liaise with customers to ensure high-quality service. A Diploma or BE in Engineering and 3–5 years of field experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Engineering required.
• 3-5 years in elevator service/maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Assertive, proactive, result oriented and self-started.
• Strong understanding of electricity and electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of elevator/escalator maintenance and service visits within your territory.
• Manage the portfolio of elevators/escalators in your defined geographical area.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns with aim of first-time fix.
• Carry out minor and major repairs to keep systems operational.
• Liaise with customers on site to build a strong working relationship.

Field Service Executive

Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the Elevator/Escalator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory
• Work within your defined geographical area/territory, managing the portfolio of Elevators/Escalators within it
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix
• Carry out minor and major repairs to achieve continual operation
• Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship

What you will need to be successful

• Diploma/BE in Engineering
• 3-5 years in handling service in Elevator industry
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
• Assertive, Proactive, Result orientated and Self-started
• You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
• You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority
• You are comfortable communicating to others
• You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team
• You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
