Job summary

Mindmentors Consultant seeks a CMA with 10+ years of costing experience in Pharma/Chemical sectors to drive costing, budgeting, and regulatory reporting initiatives. The role involves API costing, COGS validation, Anaplan budgeting, and RPA-enabled process improvements across SAP BW and BI tools.

The candidate will coordinate with Finance and Operations, oversee cost audits, and enhance cost-control measures with automation enabled by modern analytics platforms.

Qualifications

• Qualified CMA.
• 10+ years of costing experience in Pharma/Chemical industries.

Responsibilities

• Perform API actual costing, including trend and variance analysis.
• Compute and validate COGS and communicate insights to Business Development and Marketing teams.
• Manage budget preparation in Anaplan; prepare budget cost sheets with overhead planning.
• Handle CAS-4 / PLI reporting and submit raw material cost break-ups as per regulations (quarterly).
• Prepare RoDTEP annual returns.
• Perform monthly and quarterly inventory categorization and valuation; evaluate inventory across Plant, C&F locations, and in-transit stock.
• Support cost audit activities; compile annexures and schedules for cost audit.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Product Costing & Analysis

• Perform API actual costing, including detailed trend and variance analysis.
• Compute and validate COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) and communicate insights to stakeholders such as Business Development and Marketing teams.

2. Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Manage budget preparation in Anaplan tool.
• Prepare budget cost sheets, including detailed overhead planning.

3. Regulatory & Compliance Reporting

• Handle CAS-4 / PLI working, including submission of raw material cost break-ups (local vs. imported) as per government regulations on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare and submit RoDTEP annual returns in compliance with prescribed requirements.

4. Inventory Management & Valuation

• Perform monthly and quarterly inventory categorization and valuation.
• Evaluate inventory across Plant, C&F locations, and In-transit stock.

5. Cost Audit & Financial Reporting

• Support cost audit activities, including:
• Compile annexures and schedules for cost audit compliance.

6. Automation & Process Improvement (RPA)

• Work with consultants on RPA (Robotic Process Automation) initiatives across systems such as Anaplan, Power BI, and SAP BW.
• Draft and document Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for automation projects.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualified CMA.

10+ years of costing experience,only from Pharma and Chemical company.
