Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Jewellery Design professional in Maharashtra to craft unique, trend-aligned designs in collaboration with the NPD and design teams.

You will create sketches, mood boards, and prototypes, ensuring designs meet brand philosophy and market trends while remaining commercially viable. A strong background in bridal, light weight, or high-value categories is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience as a jewellery designer in the jewellery industry.
• Strong background in design in bridal, light weight, or high value categories in a leading organization.
• Bachelor of Design or degree in design is required.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing and developing unique jewelry designs aligned with brand philosophy and market trends.
• Collaborating with the design team led by Design managers to create concepts as per design directions.
• Conducting design research, trend analysis, and customer insights to inspire new designs.
• Creating sketches, mood boards, or prototypes to visually communicate design ideas; coordinating with NPD for manufacturing feasibility.
• Balancing artistic creativity with commercial viability within a corporate framework.
• Participating in design/retail/merch feedback sessions and refining designs based on feedback.

Position Purpose and Summary

To design unique, trend-aligned jewellery by collaborating with design and NPD teams, balancing creativity with commercial viability, and refining concepts through research and feedback.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conceptualizing and developing unique jewelry designs aligned with brand philosophy and market trends.
• Collaborating with the design team led by Design managers or design heads to create unique jewelry concepts as per given design directions.
• Conducting design research, trend analysis, and customer insights to inspire new designs.
• Creating sketches, mood boards, or prototypes to visually communicate design ideas. Working closely with NPD team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing.
• Balancing artistic creativity with commercial viability within a structured corporate framework.
• Participating in Design/retail/merch feedback sessions, customer engagement, and possibly refining designs based on feedback.
