Descripción de la vacante

U&I is seeking a Senior Manager to head Empower, our corporate volunteering program in India. You will own the strategy, team, and partner relationships, delivering meaningful volunteering experiences across India.

You will lead a team spanning event delivery, NGO partnerships, and city operations, acting as the senior point of contact for our largest corporate accounts. This leadership role has full ownership of a program with a strong track record and growth trajectory.

Formación

  • 5 to 12 years of experience in program management, CSR, corporate volunteering, or related field.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships, ideally with corporate CSR, HR, Sustainability, or Employee Engagement teams.
  • Experience running multi-city or multi-location programs with distributed teams.
  • Comfortable owning targets and reporting against KPIs or OKRs.
  • Based in Bengaluru, or willing to relocate, with ability to travel periodically.

Responsabilidades

  • Own the quality and consistency of corporate volunteering events delivered across cities, from planning and readiness to on-ground execution and closure.
  • Ensure every engagement is well planned, with clear responsibilities, timelines, logistics, volunteer readiness and community partner preparedness.
  • Stay close to execution and step in when there are gaps, risks or issues that need senior-level intervention.
  • Set and maintain clear standards for event delivery, volunteer experience, beneficiary dignity and partner expectations.
  • Own Empower's annual strategy and targets across volunteer hours, projects delivered, and revenue.
  • Grow existing partnerships through multi-city and multi-year engagements, alongside new partner acquisition led by our Corporate Partnerships team.
  • Identify and develop new volunteering formats and activities in partnership with our Programs team.
  • Lead a team covering event delivery and execution, NGO partnerships and activity development, and city-level operations across U&I's 39-city footprint.
  • Set clear ownership and standards across the team, including quality of delivery, host management, and inventory and logistics.
  • Coach and develop managers and help build the next layer of leadership.
  • Be U&I's senior relationship owner for our largest corporate accounts, working directly with CSR, Sustainability, and HR/Employee Engagement leaders.
  • Represent U&I in partner reviews, renewal conversations with the Corporate Partnerships team, and escalations.
  • Ensure every partner engagement reflects U&I's quality and impact standards.
  • Track and report program KPIs to U&I leadership.
  • Manage program budgets and resourcing across cities.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs between the delivery, partnerships, and programs teams.
  • 90 days: you know every top-10 account personally, and have a written Empower plan for FY27 that the team can repeat back to you.
  • 6 months: our three largest partners have moved from one-off events to a calendar-based, multi-city engagement, and every activity ships with an impact confirmation within a week.
  • 12 months: Empower hits its revenue & volunteer-hour targets, at least one manager on your team is ready for a bigger role, and partners renew because of the quality & not because we chased them.
