You will configure and troubleshoot advanced routing, VPN and service delivery, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring high availability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years in network engineering with Nokia platforms.
• Strong knowledge of IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, VPLS, VPRN, IES, VXLAN).
• Experience with Nokia NSP for management and automation.

L4 Network Engineer - Nokia 7250/7750 Platform

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Solution Engineer/Consultant with expertise in Nokia 7750/7250 & 220 platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires proficiency in designing and implementing network devices, with a deep understanding of L2 and L3 protocols. The candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the availability, scalability and security of network infrastructure. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment, with readiness for flexible timing.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and migrate network infrastructure based on Nokia 7250 and 7750 platforms.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize IP routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, ISIS and VPRN.
• Configure, troubleshoot and optimize services like ePipe, IES, VPRN.
• Manage NOKIA NSP platform.
• Provide Level 3/Level 4 support for network infrastructure on Nokia platforms.
• Collaborate with other teams to design and implement network security policies and solutions.
• Conduct regular network audits and implement best practices for network performance and security.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
• Participate in the evaluation and testing of new hardware and networking technologies.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on Nokia 7250 and 7750 platforms.
• Strong expertise in IP routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IS‑IS, VPLS, VPRN, IES and VXLAN.
• Hands‑on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Nokia 7250 and 7750 routers.
• Proficiency in network design principles and best practices.
• Good understanding of network security principles and protocols (e.g., ACLs, IPSec, VPN).
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with Nokia Network Services Platform (NSP) for network management and automation.
