Job summary

Ashirbad House Keeping Services seeks a capable professional for O&M of a 400 KV transmission line across the North East region. You will oversee planning, safety, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure line availability and asset integrity.

The role requires experience in tower foundations, stringing works in hilly terrain, and familiarity with regulatory guidelines. Expect site management duties, CSR activities, and potential business development tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in North Eastern Region in special tower foundations & stringing works in hilly terrain.
• Adequate experience in construction and O&M of 220 KV and above transmission line.
• Should have adequate experience in planning and organizing site activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams and prepare MIS.
• Strong in Project Management skills.
• Familiarity with CERC Regulatory Bodies / Transmission business/CPWD/DSR guidelines.

Responsibilities

• O&M of 400 KV Transmission Line (662.8 kms).
• Familiarization with design & drawings, route study and profile survey.
• Maintain system availability for grid standards and strive for excellence.
• Ensure safety of asset and manpower as per safety manual.
• Maintain availability, security and healthiness of the network across sites.
• Manage funds, materials, equipment, manpower, and contractors at the project site.
• Report progress of technical and financial aspects to the Reporting manager.
• Periodical material reconciliation & stock register.
• Monitor safety and smooth functioning of site administrative assets like offices and vehicles.
• Prepare time-bound O&M patrolling charts for employees across all site offices.
• Implement CSR as per company guidelines.
• Engage in Business Development activities and new initiatives.
• Handle ROW issues and court/legal cases pertaining to site.
• Contract management for work at site.
• Any other work/project assigned by the Company.

Job description

• Responsible for O&M of 400 KV Transmission Line (662.8 kms).
• Familiarization with study of design & drawing, route study and profile survey.
• Responsible for maintaining system availability for grid standards and strive to achieve excellence.
• Responsible for the safety of asset and manpower, in line with the safety manual (On roll and 3rd party employees engaged for the O&M work).
• To maintain system availability, security and healthiness of entire network and strive to achieve excellence.
• Responsible for managing funds, materials, equipment, manpower, and contractors at the project site.
• Responsible for presenting to the Reporting manager the technical and financial progress of the project.
• Responsible for periodic Material Reconciliation & stock register.
• To monitor and ensure the safety and smooth functioning of the administrative asset i.e. site office Buildings & vehicle etc.
• To ensure and prepare time bound O&M patrolling charts for employees across all the site offices.
• Responsible for implementation of CSR as per the company guidelines.
• Responsible for Business Development activities and new business initiatives.
• Handling of ROW Issues and Court/Legal Cases pertaining to site.
• Contract Management for the work being executed at site.
• Any other work/project assigned by the Company.
