Best Group in Gurugram seeks a Sr Manager/ AGM – IT/OT Integration to design, implement, and support IT/OT integration between enterprise IT networks and industrial control systems. The role includes securing communication with SCADA, PLC, DCS, and IIoT platforms.

You will coordinate with IT, automation and cybersecurity teams, drive roadmaps, and ensure reliable data flow across plant and enterprise platforms while adhering to industry standards.

Qualifications

Role Description

The Sr Manager/ AGM – IT/OT Integration is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Gurugram to design, implement, and support the integration of Information Technology (IT) systems with Operational Technology (OT) environments. The role involves ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient communication between enterprise networks and industrial/control systems such as SCADA, PLC, DCS, and IIoT platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement IT‑OT integration architectures. Integrate SCADA, PLC, DCS, HMI, and IIoT systems with enterprise IT infrastructure.

Configure and troubleshoot industrial Ethernet, VLANs, routing, and network segmentation.

Implement cybersecurity controls for OT environments (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, Zero Trust principles).

Coordinate with IT, automation, and cybersecurity teams for deployment and support. Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of critical OT systems.

Prepare technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and change records. Support migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives. Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures along with providing L2/L3 technical support for IT‑OT connectivity issues.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include assessing current IT/OT infrastructure, defining integration roadmaps, overseeing implementation of IIoT and automation solutions, and ensuring secure, reliable data flow between plant floor systems and enterprise platforms. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, including production, quality, finance, and external technology partners, to optimize operations and support digital transformation initiatives. The individual will monitor performance metrics, manage budgets and vendor relationships, address system issues proactively, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and industry standards.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, OSPF, EIGRP, ACLs, NAT. Experience with Cisco or similar Industrial Ethernet / Catalyst switches.
• Knowledge of SCADA, PLC, DCS, Modbus, OPC UA, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP.
• Understanding of industrial cybersecurity concepts and standards.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and cloud/edge integration.
• Ability to analyze packet captures and troubleshoot complex network issues.
• OEM & Industrial Platform Experience (Mandatory)
• Candidates should have hands‑on experience with one or more leading OEM and industrial software platforms, like:
• a) Ignition (Inductive Automation)
• d) Rockwell FactoryTalk
• f) ABB 800xA
• Other equivalent OEM SCADA, DCS, HMI, or Historian platforms.

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, diagnose integration issues, and support decision‑making for IT/OT optimization.

• Candidates should possess Finance awareness to manage project budgets, evaluate technology investments, and align integration initiatives with business objectives.
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage vendors, and drive change in complex operational settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., IIoT, industrial automation, project management) are an advantage.
