Job summary

Sutherland is hiring for a Live Underwriter US Mortgage in Navi Mumbai (Airoli). The role requires 3 to 4 years of live underwriting experience, with a focus on origination underwriting, Form 1003 / URLA, and income calculations including self-employed income. Knowledge of Encompass/LOS is preferred.

Shift is US hours, work from office, with rotational offs. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and decision-making abilities to assess credit, DTI, assets and liabilities for loan

Qualifications

• Live underwriting experience required and mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of origination underwriting and Form 1003 / URLA.
• Proficient in income calculation, including self-employed income.
• Knowledge of credit, DTI, assets & liabilities.
• Encompass / LOS experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
