Job summary

Consolidated Analytics in Chennai is seeking a Sr. Underwriter with 3+ years of US residential mortgage underwriting experience to work on live US loan files.

This role requires deep knowledge of income, credit, collateral, asset calculations and adherence to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines; night shift, WFO in Chennai.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years' US residential mortgage underwriting experience.
• Expertise in reviewing income, credit, collateral & capital.
• Expertise in calculating all types of income (salaried, self-employed, other income) and asset ratios.
• Experience underwriting all loan types: Purchase, Refinance, Construction.
• Knowledge of guidelines from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
• Evaluating loan documents for approval or rejection.
• Review appraisal documents to verify correct property evaluation.
• Assess loan attributes and documentation for soundness and accuracy.
• Approve/deny/counter-offer loans after borrower eligibility verification.
• Assess bank statements.
• Experience in DSCR loan files.

• A Minimum of 3+ years' work experience in US Residential Mortgage specifically in Frontend (Live) US Residential Underwriting
• Expertise in Underwriting Reviewing Income, Credit, Collateral & Capital
• Expertise in calculating all type of Incomes (Salaried/Self Employed and Other Income), Asset & Ratios
• Must have experience in Underwriting all type of loans Purchase/Refinance/Construction
• Expertise in reviewing the Guideline (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac)
• Evaluating the Loan documents for approval/rejection
• Review Appraisal document to identify whether the property has been evaluated correctly
• Assessing loan attributes and documentation for soundness and accuracy
• Approving/Denying/Counter Offer the loans after verifying borrower eligibility
• Assessing Bank statements review
• Experience in DSCR loan files
