Job summary

CBTS is seeking a highly skilled DNS Engineer with a strong foundation in Linux to design, manage, and optimize our core DNS infrastructure. You will ensure the high availability, security, and scalability of our domain name resolution systems, while closely working with proxies, routing, switching, and load balancing technologies.

You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, security, and scalability of our domain name resolution systems, while closely working with proxies, routing, switching, and load balancing technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• DNS Architecture & Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot authoritative and recursive DNS systems (e.g., BIND, PowerDNS, CoreDNS) in a Linux environment.
• Traffic Management: Design and implement local and global load balancing strategies to distribute network traffic efficiently.
• Linux Administration: Perform system administration, performance tuning, and security hardening on Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS) servers.
• Proxies & Routing: Configure and manage reverse proxies, HTTP routing, and basic network switching to ensure seamless application delivery.
