Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an experienced network architect and DNS/DHCP expert to lead the design, deployment and governance of our IP space across intranet and internet domains. You will partner with Security and various infrastructure teams to implement resilient, scalable solutions and automation.

You will drive DNS/IPAM automation, lead L3 outage responses, document architectures, and help evolve our network toward zero-trust security while maintaining clear diagrams and inventories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering field preferred.
• Knowledge of OSI stack, network terminology, SDN technologies, OpenStack, public and private cloud.
• Experience with AWS and GCP native technologies preferred.
• 10+ years in network switching, routing, load balancing and firewall solutions.
• 5+ years troubleshooting network architecture.
• 5+ years with DNS, DHCP and IPAM.
• Proficiency in BGP and OSPF routing.
• Proficiency in DNSSEC implementation and management.
• 5+ years in enterprise network architecture and design.
• Experience with infrastructure security and zero trust models.
• Experience with Python/Perl/Java.
• Ability to translate user needs into technical requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and influence without formal authority.

• Partner with Information Security to lead critical infrastructure hygiene and standardization initiatives
• Partner with application and infrastructure teams to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that meet their needs
• Drive DNS/IPAM automation capabilities
• Provide Level 3 support for DNS outages

• Help evolve our network infrastructure to integrate next generation technology capabilities

Qualification:

• At least 10 years of experience with Network switching, routing, load balancing, and firewall solutions
• At least 5 years of experience troubleshooting network architecture.
• At least 5 years of experience with DNS, DHCP and IPAM.
• Proficiency in routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.
• Proficiency in DNSSEC implementation and management.
• At least 5 years experience with enterprise network architecture and design.
• Proficiency in infrastructure security and zero trust security models.
• Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Perl, Java).
• Ability to determine user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence outcomes and people without relying on reporting lines or organizational hierarchy.
