Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an SAP FICO Lead Consultant to join our India SAP Practice. The role requires 8+ years of SAP FICO expertise and leadership across cost accounting, GL, AP, AR, AA and bank accounting.

The candidate will guide business teams, optimize SAP FI processes and drive efficient financial controls. Location options include Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Noida, Chennai, Navi Mumbai, with a strong project delivery focus and client-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP FICO project experience.
• Lead Consultant capable of guiding business processes.
• Experience in cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Product costing, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting: must have thorough understanding.
• Support variance analysis and cost tracking and guide business by interpreting current reports and recommending standard SAP reports.
• General Ledger (GL): Month-end close, journal entries, accruals, financial reporting.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Vendor invoices, payments, GR/IR clearing workflows.
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Billing, customer payments, collections, and workflows.
• Asset Accounting (AA): Asset lifecycle management.
• Bank Accounting: Bank reconciliation and electronic bank processes.
• Should guide business on SAP usage and proactively identify risks and resolve issues.
