Job summary

Zensar Technologies in Hyderabad, India seeks a Senior Java & Oracle Developer to enhance an enterprise application. You will work across Java application code and Oracle database logic, participate in a modern CI/CD workflow, and responsibly use AI developer tools to move fast.

Must have: Core Java 8+, Apache Struts, Oracle PL/SQL, Maven/Git/Bitbucket/Jenkins/Docker/Oracle SQL Developer; experience with AI tools and prompt-based workflows; and strong unit/integration testing discipline.

Qualifications

Senior Java & Oracle Developer

We’re seeking an experienced backend developer for a enhancement effort on an established enterprise application. You’ll work across Java application code and Oracle database logic, ship through a modern CI/CD toolchain, and use AI developer tools to move fast. Must be self-directed and able to ramp quickly with minimal onboarding.

Must have:

• Core Java (8+) and the Apache Struts framework
• Oracle PL/SQL — stored procedures, functions, packages — and strong SQL
• Maven, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, Oracle SQL Developer
• Hands-on with AI developer tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, Kiro) and agentic IDEs — effective prompting to unblock and accelerate work, with the judgment to review and validate AI output
• Unit/integration testing with a disciplined, correctness-first approach
• Nice to have: financial/billing or data-sensitive systems, config-driven refactoring of legacy logic, phased/reversible deployment, batch/feed processing
