Job description

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java developer, passionate about building robust modern applications based on the Java ecosystem of frameworks and tools, event‑driven microservice architecture, and best industry practices. You will be working in a team on an exciting green‑field project that owns end‑to‑end delivery of the entire solution.

Responsibilities

• Interact with subject matter experts to understand functional requirements and convert them into high‑quality implementation within a desired timeline
• Act as a good team player and work closely in a feature team
• Adopt clean code, SOLID, and other best practices in implementation
• Write automated unit, service, and integration tests for new features
• Develop a strong grasp of the functional domain and take ownership of modules
• Mentor new developers in good coding skills and industry best practices
• Maintain a growth mindset and continuously improve skills and the product
• Contribute to technical and functional decisions of the team

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of experience in implementing Java‑based systems
• 2+ years of experience with RDBMS or no‑SQL databases
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Spring Boot experience is mandatory
• Strong programming and problem‑solving skills
• Good clean code practices
• Strong knowledge of SOLID and other class design principles
• Participation in end‑to‑end life cycle of a product, including release and production support
• Strong knowledge of REST, JSON, HTTP, and Postman
• Experience with a messaging framework such as Kafka, Kinesis, or ActiveMQ
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model
• Exposure to Docker
• Understanding of distributed system concepts such as high availability, resiliency, fault tolerance, scalability, and elasticity

Desired Skills (Not Mandatory)
