Job summary

Blend is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering and BI programs across client engagements. You will drive end-to-end delivery, stakeholder alignment, and governance, ensuring on-time, within-scope outcomes while optimising resources and budgets.

You will bridge business and technical teams, guide pre-sales inputs when needed, and mentor delivery teams to improve efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of delivery, program, or project management experience across analytics, data, and BI programs.
• Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar projects with complex stakeholder landscapes.
• Fluency with planning and tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheets) and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, and BI projects across multiple client engagements.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
• Partner closely with internal client partners, senior technical managers, and engineering leads to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage delivery governance including project planning, tracking, reporting, and escalation management.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early and drive mitigation plans proactively.
• Oversee and optimize resource allocation by identifying internal talent based on project demand and skill requirements.
• Ensure effective utilization of delivery teams while balancing multiple priorities and changing requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between data scientists, data engineers, BI developers, and platform teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, best practices, and operational efficiency.
• Act as a point of contact for delivery-related communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Support pre-sales or transition activities by providing delivery inputs, estimates, and execution plans when required.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager with 8–12 years of experience in delivering Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing end-to-end delivery for multiple data-driven projects while partnering closely with internal client stakeholders and senior technical leaders.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring successful project execution, resource optimization, and stakeholder satisfaction. Qualifications

Delivery & Leadership

• 15+ years of delivery, program, or project management experience (consulting, tech, or product scale preferred).
• Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar projects and complex stakeholder landscapes.
• Deep expertise in financial management: budget tracking, variance analysis, forecasting, and cost control.
• Fluency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheets, or equivalent planning and tracking tools.

Technical Acumen (Data, AI, & Cloud)

• Data Engineering Fundamentals: Understand Python, SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data architecture patterns.
• Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, GCP; comfort with platform selection and cost optimization.
• Data & Analytics Stack: Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Data Science & ML: Basic understanding of exploratory data analysis (EDA), modeling workflows, and model deployment.
• Gen AI & Agentic AI: Knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, token economics, RAG systems, and GPU cost optimization.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes and validate feasibility with engineering teams.
