Role Description

The Sr. Interior Designer will lead end-to-end design for luxury residential and hospitality projects, from concept development to final execution, in a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. Responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, developing design concepts, space plans, and material palettes, and preparing detailed drawings, mood boards, and 3D presentations. The role involves coordinating with architects, consultants, site teams, and vendors to ensure design intent is accurately translated into construction and finishes. The Sr. Interior Designer will oversee project timelines and quality, conduct site visits, resolve design and technical issues, and guide junior designers and draftspeople. This position requires proactive collaboration with the Ahmedabad office leadership to help build the studio’s design standards and contribute to Archintegration’s growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design and space planning skills, including concept development, material selection, and furniture layout.
• Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D rendering software) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office).
• Experience managing high-end residential, hospitality, or turnkey interior projects from design through execution.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams, with solid understanding of site coordination and interior detailing.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills and the ability to translate client needs into functional, aesthetic design solutions.
• Strong project management capabilities, including time management, budgeting awareness, and attention to quality and detail.
• Leadership skills to mentor junior team members, review their work, and uphold studio design standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of relevant experience in high-end projects.
• Knowledge of current design trends, sustainable materials, and best practices in luxury and hospitality design.
