Job summary

The Orange Lane, Mumbai-based design studio, seeks a Senior Interior Designer with 5-8 years of experience in high-end residential and hospitality projects to lead design from concept to completion.

You will develop concepts, mood boards, detailed drawings, material selections and BOQs, lead client presentations, coordinate with vendors, consultants and site teams, and mentor junior designers. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in premium interior design studios.
• Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture and lighting.
• Preferably based in Mumbai and available to join immediately.

We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer with 5-8 years of experience in high-end residential and hospitality projects to lead design from concept to completion. The role involves developing concepts, mood boards, detailed drawings, material selection and BOQs, leading client presentations, coordinating with vendors, consultants and site teams, and mentoring junior designers. The ideal candidate should have a strong design sensibility, proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite, excellent project management and communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, luxury finishes, and execution quality.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a reputed institute and 5-8 years of experience in a premium interior design studio, with a strong portfolio showcasing luxury residential, hospitality and commercial projects. The ideal candidate should possess a strong creative vision with excellent knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture and lighting, along with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization, MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite. They should be capable of independently handling projects from concept to execution, including client presentations, vendor coordination and site supervision, while demonstrating excellent communication, presentation and team leadership skills. We seek someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, passionate about design and well-versed with current trends and luxury innovations, preferably based in Mumbai and available to join immediately.
