Job summary

Studio Graphene, hiring as the Employer of Record for PCI Pal, seeks a Senior Integration Engineer in India to lead web and payment integration designs and implementations. You will own projects from inception through deployment, act as SME on gateway integrations, and help standardise deployment practices.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, develop API specifications, and support pre-sales with solution scoping.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology services with deep domain expertise across CRMs and payment gateway solutions.
• Strong understanding of API design and data exchange with third‑party applications.
• Hands‑on with front‑end and integration technologies including HTML/CSS/JS/JSON/XML.
• Working knowledge of C# and .NET, plus familiarity with AWS.
• Experience using Postman and SOAP UI for testing.

Responsibilities

• Act as design authority for web and payment integrations across customer projects.
• Serve as SME for PCI Pal desktop and payment gateway integrations.
• Review requirements, scope solutions, and assist in configuring new gateways.
• Collaborate with Product to optimise UI and solution designs for standardisation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including API specs and PSP interfaces.
• Coordinate with engineering to set up environments for PSP and CRM projects.
• Mentor juniors and review their solutions for quality and consistency.
• Provide troubleshooting and fault resolution for customer incidents.
• Manage BAU change requests and assist in drafting SOWs or change documents.
• Build expert knowledge of PCI Pal products, services, and deployment methodologies.

For this role, Studio Graphene is hiring as the Employer of Record (EOR) for PCI Pal. You will be employed by Studio Graphene in India and work as part of PCI Pal s team on their products, with your day-to-day role and responsibilities set out below.

PCI Pal is a leading provider of SaaS solutions that empower companies to take payments securely, adhere to strict industry governance, and reduce significant business risks posed by non-compliance and data loss. We are integrated and resold by some of the world s leading business communications vendors, as well as major payment service providers.

Location: 5 days working from Gurgaon Office

Working hours: 11:00 AM-8:00 PM

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Senior Integration Engineer is a senior individual contributor responsible for managing the technical design and delivery of PCI Pal web and payment solutions, including partner and platform integrations, based on customer needs and requirements. The role owns complex solution design, leads high-quality implementations, and acts as a subject matter expert (SME) across PCI Pal s platform, desktop, payments, and API integrations. In addition to delivery, the Senior WIS supports engineering and platform development by providing implementation feedback, improving deployment patterns, and driving the standardisation of Professional Services processes and implementations to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability across customer deployments.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Act as a design authority throughout the lifecycle of customer projects involving web and payment integration, and assume full ownership of the web and payment solution from project inception to successful implementation.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and timely guidance on PCI Pal desktop and payment gateway integrations.
• Support Pre-Sales activities by reviewing requirements, scoping solutions, and supporting the configuration and integration of new payment gateways.
• Collaborate closely with the Product team to optimise UI and solution designs, ensuring alignment with platform strategy and initiatives such as standardisation.
• Create, maintain, and contribute to technical documentation, including PCI Pal API specifications, PSP interfaces, and custom development requirements.
• Work closely with the engineering team to setup and facilitate environments for PSP and CRM development projects.
• Offer expert guidance to junior team members, assisting them in addressing complex technical issues, including peer-reviewing their solutions.
• Provide troubleshooting and fault resolution support to internal operations for customer incident cases.
• Independently manage BAU change requests, collaborating with customers to gather and understand change needs, and support professional services in developing Statements of Work (SOW) or similar change documents.
• Building and maintaining an expert knowledge of PCI Pal s products, services, and deployment methodology.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:

• Have experience in technology services, with deep domain expertise across CRMs and payment gateway solutions.
• Strong understanding of API design, authentication, and data exchange with third-party applications and services.
• Hands-on experience with front-end and integration technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and XML.
• Understanding of core programming principles, with working knowledge of C# and .NET.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Hands-on experience with third-party testing tools such as Postman and SOAP UI.
• Ability to review and analyse application and platform logs to identify issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Comfortable working flexibly across multiple time zones to meet project timelines and customer expectations.
• Experience of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, support, and project management.
