Senior Golang Developer (Microservices)

Location: Bangalore
Engagement: Hybrid (2 days in office)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Golang Developer to build and scale high-performance microservices for enterprise-grade platforms. You will play a key role in designing robust backend systems, owning end-to-end delivery, and ensuring production reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable, high-performance microservices in production
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and backend services
• Take end-to-end ownership of complex technical projects---from planning to execution
• Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production incidents efficiently
• Develop and optimize enterprise-level ad tech platforms (or similar large-scale systems)
• Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices, and manage technical debt
• Handle release deployments and ensure system stability post-release
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment

Must-Have Skills

• 6+ years of experience in backend development using Golang
• Strong experience in microservices architecture and REST API development
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture design
• Expertise in writing efficient, optimized, and maintainable code
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex system challenges
• Hands-on experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Ability to clearly articulate technical decisions and trade-offs
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments
• Adaptability to quickly learn and work with new technologies
