Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development experience in production environments.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Golang development.
• Strong Go fundamentals and concurrency handling.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Redis, CloudWatch, IAM, API Gateway, SQS, SNS).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL with indexing and migrations.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer (Golang + AWS) ll Bangalore ll 4+ yrs. of experience with strong expertise in building scalable backend systems, cloud-native applications, and distributed architectures. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Golang development, AWS cloud services, system design, event-driven architecture, and database optimization. You will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance backend services capable of handling large-scale consumer workloads while ensuring reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Mandatory Skills

• 4+ years of backend development experience in production environments
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Golang development
• Strong expertise in Go fundamentals, including Goroutines, Channels, Context Handling, Concurrency, Error Handling, Interfaces, and Performance Optimization
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, Backend Services, and Microservices
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Redis (ElastiCache), CloudWatch, IAM, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS
• Strong understanding of System Design, Distributed Systems, scalability, resilience, and backend architecture best practices
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, transactions, and database migrations
• Hands-on experience with Event-Driven Architecture, asynchronous processing, queues, and messaging systems
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms
• Strong knowledge of Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Monitoring & Observability, including structured logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting
• Expertise in Redis/Caching strategies for performance optimization and scalability
• Strong proficiency with Git, code reviews, and collaborative software development
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Exposure to Kubernetes, service orchestration, or platform engineering
• Experience building real-time systems using WebSockets
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and backend security best practices
• Experience working in high-growth startup environments
• Experience integrating payment, communication, analytics, or identity platforms
