Job summary

Smart4talent is seeking a QA Executive Microbiologist for our Factory role in India. You will manage QA activities to meet FSSAI and FSSC 20000 requirements and oversee the Microbiology Lab with the QA team.

You will perform microbiological testing on raw materials, packaging, process water, environmental samples, in-process materials, and finished products, ensuring safety and quality across all assays in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing QA microbiology in food manufacturing per FSSAI and FSSC 20000.
• Perform routine microbiological tests on raw materials, water, and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with FSMS, HACCP, GMP, and internal QA systems.
• Maintain lab safety, calibration, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological analyses of samples and environmental monitoring.
• Interpret results and report deviations or OOS findings promptly.
• Maintain lab records, test reports, and traceability.
• Ensure proper storage and disposal of cultures and waste.
• Support FSMS implementation and internal audits.

Job Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities for QA Executive Microbiologist Factory Role to manage the QA activities as per FSSAI and FSSC 20000 requirements and Microbiology Lab with the QA team.The Executive
• Microbiology is responsible for ensuring microbiological safety and quality of raw materials, packaging materials, process water, environmental samples, in-process materials, and finished products through routine laboratory testing and environmental monitoring.
• The role supports compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSAI regulations, GMP, GHP, and internal Quality Management Systems by conducting microbiological analysis, maintaining laboratory operations, supporting verification and validation activities, and ensuring effective monitoring of food safety controls.
• Key ResponsibilitiesMicrobiological Testing Perform microbiological analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress, process water, environmental swabs, and finished productsConduct routine microbiological tests including but not limited to: Total Plate Count (TPC)Yeast Mold ColiformsEscherichia coliSalmonella spp.Listeria spp.
