Job summary

ALS Testing Services India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Executive for Mumbai operations to support IT systems, install and configure OS and business apps, and provide first-line user assistance. The role covers patching, incident resolution, and asset management within a pharmaceutical context.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer science and at least 4 years’ IT experience in pharma/IT settings, with strong emphasis on GxP, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science.
• GxP (Good Practice) compliance and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 familiarity.
• Understanding of data integrity rules (ALCOA+).
• Experience with CSV validation activities in pharma contexts.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure operating systems and business applications.
• Apply software updates, security patches, and antivirus definitions.
• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and printer errors.
• Fix network connectivity and internet access issues.
• Escalate complex problems to higher-level engineering teams.
• Serve as the first point of contact for user help requests via tickets, phone, or chat.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of company hardware and software.

Qualification

Minimum 4 years in IT and pharmaceutical industry

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure operating systems and business applications.
• Apply software updates, security patches, and antivirus definitions.
• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and printer errors.

• Ensure all computer systems follow GxP (Good Practice Quality Guidelines) and FDA rules like 21 CFR Part 11 for electronic records.

• Knowledge on pharmaceutical CSV validation assignments including implementation of new systems, re-validation of existing computerized systems
