You will work in a fast-paced healthcare analytics environment, ensure coding integrity, stay current with coding rules, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve billing issues. 2–4 years of coding experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Life Science graduation or equivalent with Anatomy/Physiology as main subjects.
• 2–4 years of work experience as a medical coder.
• Certified coding credentials CPC/COC/CRC/CPCP (AAPC) or CCS/CCSP/CCA (AHIMA).
• Proficient computer skills with familiarity in coding workflows.

Responsibilities

• Extracting relevant information from patient records
• Examining documents for missing information
• Assigning CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/ICD-10-CM, APC, DRG and ASA codes
• Ensuring documents are grammatically correct and free from typing errors
• Performing chart audits

Required Expertise & Qualification:

• Life Science graduation or any equivalent graduation with Anatomy/Physiology as
• main subjects
• 2 to 4 years of work experience as a medical coder
• Any one of the following coding certifications CPC, COC, CRC, CPCP from AAPC CCS,
• CCSP, CCA from AHIMA
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong people skills & Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
