Qualifications

• Life Science degree with Anatomy/Physiology as core subjects.
• 2–4 years of medical coder experience.
• Certifications: CPC/COC/CRC/CPCP (AAPC) or CCS/CCSP/CCA (AHIMA).
• Proficient computer skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Extract information from patient records.
• Examine documents for missing information.

• Ensure documents are grammatically correct and free from typing errors.

Required Expertise & Qualifications

• Life Science or equivalent graduation with Anatomy/Physiology as main subjects
• 2 to 4 years of work experience as a medical coder
• One of the following coding certifications: CPC, COC, CRC, CPCP from AAPC, CCS, CCSP, or CCA from AHIMA
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
