Job summary

CorroHealth Infotech Private Limited seeks a medical coder with 2–4 years of experience to extract information from patient records and assign CPT, HCPCS and ICD codes. You will audit charts, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with coding guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold Life Science graduation and coding certifications (AAPC or AHIMA). Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential in a fast-paced environment in Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

• Life Science graduation or equivalent with Anatomy/Physiology as main subjects.
• 2 to 4 years of work experience as a medical coder in Denials and Edits.
• Certified coder with CPC, COC, CRC, CPCP or CCS/CCSP/CCA from AAPC/AHIMA.

Responsibilities

• Extracting relevant information from patient records.
• Assigning CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/ICD-10CM, APC, Denials and Edits.
• Ensuring codes tally with doctors’ diagnosis and complying with coding policies.

Education

Life Science graduation

CPC/COC/CRC/CPCP (AAPC) or CCS/CCSP/CCA (AHIMA) certifications
