Job summary

Pharma Access Pvt. Ltd. seeks an Electrical and ELV Engineer to design and coordinate electrical distribution and ELV systems for pharmaceutical facilities.

You will prepare schematics in AutoCAD, review power, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and BMS, ensuring compliance with cGMP, GSP, GLP, and ISO standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with pharma project exposure.
• 4–7 years of total professional experience in designing utilities for pharmaceutical projects.
• Experience with regulatory guidelines such as cGMP, ISPE, WHO, ISO.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and ELV drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for design and execution.
• Design and review power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.

Job Description:

Electrical and ELV Engineer with expertise in the design, coordination, and implementation of electrical distribution and ELV systems. Proficient in AutoCAD for preparing schematics. Experienced in power, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and BMS systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Well versed with relevant guidelines like cGMP, GSP, GLP, ISO etc. Will be independently dealing with the Client, Vendors and Suppliers and internal resources. Knowledge of site execution, installation & commissioning, is value added.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and ELV design drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project design and execution.
• Design and review power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and project documentation.

Required Skills And Experience

Min 4-7 years of total professional experience in designing various utilities including its distribution etc. for pharmaceutical projects either with a pharmaceutical company’s technical organization or with an engineering/consulting company.

Education

B.E / B. Tech – Electrical from Government Engineering College / Regional Engineering College (REC) / any other Engineering College of repute.

Functional Competencies

• Exposure to BMS & EMS system is required.
• Knowledge of cGMP, ISPE, WHO, ASME etc.
• Good Command over AutoCAD and Revit + MS Project.
