Job summary

AIR Treament Engineering Private Limited in Dholera, Gujarat is seeking an experienced ELV Design Engineer to design and coordinate ELV systems for large-scale projects, prepare design deliverables, and ensure timely submission.

You will work on CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA/VA, structured cabling and SMATV, review drawings, prepare BOQs/MTOs, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet client specifications.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in ELV design engineering.
• Experience in EPC, industrial, or large-scale building projects preferred.
• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics & Communication or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ELV systems as per project requirements and applicable standards.
• Prepare design drawings, layouts, schematics, equipment schedules, cable schedules, BOQs, and MTOs.
• Coordinate ELV services with HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Civil, Structural, and Architectural teams.
• Review vendor technical submittals and provide technical comments.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams.
• Attend design coordination and technical review meetings.
• Ensure timely completion of design deliverables.

Job description

Role: ELV Design Engineer

The role involves designing and coordinating **ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems** for the semiconductor project, including preparation of design deliverables, technical coordination, drawing review, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop ELV systems as per project requirements and applicable standards.
• Prepare design drawings, layouts, schematics, equipment schedules, cable schedules, BOQs, and MTOs.
• Work on ELV systems including:
  • CCTV
  • Access Control
  • Fire Alarm
  • Public Address / Voice Evacuation
  • Structured Cabling
  • SMATV
  • Other ELV systems as applicable to the project
• Perform basic system sizing, cable sizing, and design calculations.
• Prepare technical specifications and design documentation.
• Develop and review shop drawings and construction drawings.
• Coordinate ELV services with HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Civil, Structural, and Architectural teams.
• Review vendor technical submittals and provide technical comments.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams.
• Attend design coordination and technical review meetings.
• Ensure ELV designs comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements.
• Support the project team in resolving design and coordination issues.
• Ensure timely completion of design deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ELV system design and engineering.
• Hands-on experience in CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA/VA, Structured Cabling, and SMATV systems.
• Proficiency in **AutoCAD**.
• Knowledge of **Revit MEP/BIM** is an added advantage.
• Ability to prepare BOQ, MTO, equipment schedules, cable schedules, and technical specifications.
• Good understanding of ELV design calculations and system sizing.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Experience in client/consultant/vendor coordination.
• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, or related engineering discipline.

Experience Requirements

• 15+ years of experience** in ELV Design Engineering.
• Experience in **EPC, industrial, commercial, or large-scale building projects**.
• Experience in semiconductor, data centre, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or other large industrial projects is preferred.
• Experience with L&T or similar major EPC projects is an added advantage.
• Candidates should have strong design and coordination experience rather than only site execution experience.
