Job summary

Pharma Access Pvt. Ltd. in India seeks an Electrical and ELV Engineer to design, coordinate, and implement electrical distribution and ELV systems for pharmaceutical projects.

Proficient with AutoCAD and Rev it, you will handle power, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams, supporting site execution, installation, and commissioning while ensuring safety regulations and GMP/GLP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed college.
• 4–7 years of experience in designing utilities and distribution for pharmaceutical projects.
• Experience with BMS/EMS, and knowledge of cGMP, ISPE, WHO, ASME.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and ELV design drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project design and execution.
• Design and review power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and project documentation.

Job description

Electrical and ELV Engineer with expertise in the design, coordination, and implementation of electrical distribution and ELV systems. Proficient in AutoCAD for preparing schematics. Experienced in power, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and BMS systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Well versed with relevant guidelines like cGMP, GSP, GLP, ISO etc. Will be independently dealing with the Client, Vendors and Suppliers and internal resources. Knowledge of site execution, installation & commissioning, is value added.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and ELV design drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD.

Education

B.E / B. Tech – Electrical from Government Engineering College / Regional Engineering College (REC) / any other Engineering College of repute.

Experience

Min 4-7 years of total professional experience in designing various utilities including its distribution etc. for pharmaceutical projects either with a pharmaceutical company’s technical organization or with an engineering/consulting company.
