Job summary

Deluxe Recycling in India seeks a seasoned Refinery Project Engineer responsible for installing, commissioning, and stabilizing refining furnaces, developing SOPs, and coordinating with maintenance. You will oversee the transition from project phase to steady-state operations, ensuring process control and quality systems are in place.

Qualifications

• Full-time Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy or related field from a reputed institution.

Responsibilities

• During Project Phase: Support installation, commissioning, and stabilization of refining furnaces.
• During Project Phase: Assist in developing SOPs, process monitoring formats, and quality checkpoints.
• During Project Phase: Coordinate with Project Maintenance teams for equipment readiness.
• During Project Phase: Support trial runs, parameter setting, and initial production validation.
• During Plant Operations: Ensure minimal deviation from the Process Monitoring Sheet.
• During Plant Operations: Oversee hot refining operations including charging schedule, flux quantity control, alloy composition, and addition of virgin alloy materials.
• During Plant Operations: Achieve shift targets for cost control, production, melt loss, dross generation, recovery, and quality.
• During Plant Operations: Approve quality reports based on spectrometry and visual inspection; ensure ERP booking compliance.
• During Plant Operations: Handle shift-level escalations.
• During Plant Operations: Coordinate with Maintenance for equipment availability.
• During Plant Operations: Control ingot quality and weight variation.
• During Plant Operations: Ensure pollution control compliance.

Qualification

• Essential:- Full-time Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy or related field from a reputed institution.

Experience

• Essential:- 3 to 5 years of experience in hot refining or similar role within refining/manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of refining processes and technologies.
• Experience in process optimization and quality control.
• Knowledge of refinery operational standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Deployment Plan

The selected candidate will be initially deployed in the into regular Plant Operations , where the candidate will be familiar with technology, process / SOPs / culture. Later, stage they will loclocate Shoolagiri Project site for , actively contributing to plant setup, commissioning support, process stabilization, and operational readiness.
