Job summary

CMR Group, India's largest producer of aluminium and zinc die-casting alloys, is seeking a Sr Executive / AM - Dispatch to manage dispatch operations. The role involves planning transport, coordinating with vendors, ensuring timely deliveries, and liaising with departments to execute dispatch plans.

Candidates should have 3–6 years in dispatch/logistics, a bachelor’s degree, and knowledge of GPS tracking and dispatch software.

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized institute.
• MBA/PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Material Management or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in dispatch, logistics or transportation.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations specific to the region.

Responsibilities

• Plan to ensure availability of transport vehicles to adhere to timely delivery to customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with third party vendors for provision of logistics from plants.
• Coordinate with internal departments to implement policies for handling dispatch of customer orders.
• Guide loading/unloading operations of finished goods into containers per product requirements.
• Monitor and coordinate with customers on overdue payments and shortages.

Qualification:

Candidate should have bachelor’s degreein any stream from recognized institute.

MBA/PG / Diploma in supply chain management / Material Management/BusinessAdministration, or a related field form any reputed institution.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a dispatch, logistics, or transportation role in any Manufacturing or service industries.

• Experience in Best Manufacturing process.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations specific to the region.

Job Profile:

• Plan to ensure availability of transport vehicles to adhere to the timely delivery to customers
• Maintain strong relationships with third party vendors for provision of logistics from plants
• Ensure close liaising with the respective departments for dispatch of customer orders as per the dispatch plan
• Guide loading and unloading operations of finished goods into containers, while adhering to specific requirements of each product
• Coordinate with internal departments to implement policies for handling rejected goods by customers
• Prepare and analyse last day reports of ingot and liquid alloy movement from plants
• Conduct reviews of ingot alloy stacking and packaging norms before dispatch
• Follow up with customers on overdue (payment receipts and shortages)

Dispatch Coordination:

• Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and equipment to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.
• Monitor vehicle and driver performance to ensure timely deliveries.
• Adjust dispatch schedules as necessary to accommodate unexpected events like traffic delays, weather conditions, or urgent orders.

Shipment Tracking:

• Track the status of dispatched orders and provide real-time updates to customers and relevant teams.
• Use tracking systems and software to monitor and document all shipments.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs, delivery times, and customer interactions.
• Ensure all dispatch documents, such as bills of lading and delivery receipts, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies regarding vehicle use and driver conduct.

Core Competencies:

General:

• Age 35- 40 years.
• CTC –3.6LPA -6.8LPA approx. CTCNotaconstraintforsuitablecandidate.
• Candidate should not be frequent job changer.
