• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to solve complex problems.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, Web APIs, microservices, Kubernetes, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure or AWS; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular or React desirable.
• Experience with data pipelines using Databricks and data storage like Minio/Seaweed.
• Solid database design and development skills with SQL Server or other relational DBs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration.

• Design, architect, develop, test, and maintain scalable .NET applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Develop clean, maintainable code and address complex performance issues.

• Evaluate technical concepts and design alternatives aligned with business objectives and cost.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot defects, and ensure engineering standards and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Monitor relevant technologies and apply them to improve product quality and competitiveness.

Your Role at Baxter

Designs and delivers scalable software solutions, applying strong engineering practices and technical judgment. Plans and executes defined projects with minimal guidance while collaborating across functions.

What You'll Be Doing

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, Web APIs, microservices, Kubernetes, and relational databases such as SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure or AWS; knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React is desirable.
• Experience with implementing data pipelines using databricks, data storage options like Minio, seaweed etc.
• Strong understanding of database design and development, including SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration skills.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and cost considerations.
• Medical-device software experience is preferred.
