Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Bengaluru seeks a skilled Software Engineer, capable of full stack development for web applications. You will design front-end architectures, ensure responsive interfaces, and collaborate with UI/UX teams to deliver robust digital solutions.

You should have 5-9 years of experience, strong VueJS/JavaScript/HTML5 skills, and proficiency in C#/.NET Core, Docker, and PostgreSQL. Knowledge of DevOps, MongoDB, Redis, and cloud practices is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
• 5-9 years of experience.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: VueJS, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5.
• Strong object-oriented PHP programming.
• Experience with Docker, Helm Charts, Containerization and Cloud Computing.
• C#, .NET Core API development and performance improvements.
• Strong PostgreSQL database performance analysis and SQL optimization.
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis Cache; DevOps knowledge is a plus.
• Unix scripting, MQTT, Keycloak.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, IEC 62304, CMMI and Agile.
• Experience with software architecture design and optimization.
• Passion for software quality and advocating best practices.
• Ability to discuss technical or project management issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design front-end web architecture and ensure application responsiveness.
• Collaborate with UI/UX team for seamless user experiences.
• Build and maintain full stack software solutions across front-end and back-end.
• Contribute to risk management and software engineering practices in device software.

Your Role at Baxter

Apply a solid understanding of System Engineering practices and theories/practices in Risk Management toward the development of new or enhanced Software products or processes. Support the advancement of Risk and Reliability competencies and execution across the Device Systems Software Engineering organization.

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. Full stack developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and collaborating with UI/UX team.

What you’ll bring

• B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
• 5-9 years experience.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including VueJS, CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5
• Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
• Experience with Docker , Helm Charts, Container , Cloud Computing
• Experience with C#, .NET Core – API Development, Performance improvement.
• Strong in PostgreSQL Database performance analysis and SQL/ PostgreSQL performance tuning
• Good to have MongoDB, Redis Cache, Devops knowledge
• Good to have Unix Scripting knowledge, MQTT, Keycloak
• A solid technical understanding of the principles and procedures of software engineering (e.g., SDLC, IEC 62304, CMMI, Agile)
• Experience with software application architecture design and optimization
• Be passionate about software quality and be prepared to advocate on behalf of good processes and best practices.
• Ability to discuss normally encountered technical or project management issues, both verbally and in written form
• Experience with medical device or other regulated software engineering disciplines (e.g., software development environments, configuration management tools, code inspection techniques and tools, testing methods and test management tools).
