Catalydd Consulting in Pune seeks a Sr. Engineer (Siemens – PCS7) with 2–4 years of experience to join the Projects & Controls team. You will participate in customer meetings, review electrical drawings, and develop PLC/DCS, SCADA, and HMI solutions.

Travel across India and abroad may be required for site work and FAT activities. You will read P&IDs/PFDs, plan IO assignments, and coordinate with customers to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Siemens PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD and servo drives.
• Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs and IO assignment prep.
• Strong planning and scheduling abilities.
• Experience in onsite commissioning and customer handling.
• Proven track record of 4–5 site commissioning on PLC/DCS projects.
• Familiarity with Ethernet TCP/IP, ProfiBus and ProfiNet.

Responsabilités

• Participate in technical meetings with customers and internal teams.
• Check and correct electrical drawings per customer specs.
• Develop and modify PLC/DCS, VFD, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Test panels at worksites or customer sites.
• Conduct software/hardware FAT with customers.
• Manage site pressure during commissioning or service.
• Handle short-notice requests and travel as needed.
• Coordinate third-party communications (Modbus, OPC).
• Ensure smooth project execution and effective customer interaction.

Position : Sr. Engineer (Siemens – PCS7)

Location : Pune

Education : BE/Msc. – Electrical, Instrumentation

Work Experience : 2 to 4 years.

Job Profile

• To participate in technical meetings with customers, the Project & Controls Team and understand the technical requirements and customer’s standards.
• Check and correct the electrical drawings of the project as per customer specifications.
• Development and modifications of PLC/DCS, VFD, SCADA, and HMI systems as per requirements.
• Carry out the testing of the Panel in our works/customer place.
• Conduct Software/Hardware FAT with Customer.
• Can handle the site pressure during the commissioning or service of the project.
• Can handle short-notice needs/requests.
• Third-party communication (Modbus, OPC, etc.) as per requirements.
• Ensure support and smooth execution of projects.
• Should have effective communication while interreacting with Customers.
• Ready to travel anywhere in India as well as abroad.

Required Skill Set

• Knowledge of hardware and software engineering in Siemens PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD and Servo drive.
• Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs, IO assignment preparation, Project planning & and scheduling.
• Strong aptitude for planning, organizing, and managing multiple priorities.
• Good knowledge of onsite commissioning and customer handling.
• At least completed 4-5 site commissioning on PLC/DCS projects.
• Knowledge of communication protocols like Ethernet TCP/IP, ProfiBus, ProfiNet etc.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs like Excel, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams etc.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
