Job description

Job Summary

We seek a motivated, experienced SPICE Modeling Engineer to support advanced process development in Analog Devices Inc (ADI). We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in high-voltage LDMOS and CMOS modeling and inter-device cross-coupling modeling through parasitic bipolar action in monolithic silicon. The candidate must excel at device physics, be eager to have hands‑on experience with electrical measurements and explore the limitations of electronic instruments. This role is not just about knowledge of various modeling tools but about getting your hands dirty and pushing the boundaries of electronic instruments. This position is located in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop compact models of LDMOS, CMOS, BJT, diode, resistor, and capacitor devices. Particular attention is given to high-voltage LDMOS and CMOS modeling for this position.
  • Characterization and modeling of inter-device parasitics, including those with bipolar transistor action.
  • Characterization and modeling that involves multi‑physics disciplines (electrical, thermal, mechanical).
  • Long-term device degradation modeling for MOS and LDMOS.
Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or Applied Physics with a strong device physics background.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experienced device modeling expert with PhD in Electrical Engineering or Applied Physics and with strong physical intuition of electrothermal, piezoelectric, and bipolar device action.
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming.
  • Familiar with SPICE-like circuit simulator
