Job summary

Tenneco Inc. in India seeks a seasoned Process Quality professional to lead quality initiatives across manufacturing operations. You will drive audits, improve processes, and ensure compliance with IATF16949, while coordinating with process owners and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 3–8 years in Process/Manufacturing Quality, a mechanical engineering degree, and experience with 8D, PFMEA, SPC, and SAP. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or a related engineering field.
• 3–8 years of experience in Process Quality or Manufacturing Quality.
• Knowledge of 8D, 7QC tools, SPC, MSA, PPAP, PFMEA, IATF16949, Poka-Yoke, and audit systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead process quality activities and auditor team.
• Monitor daily Quality MIS and KPIs.
• Conduct RED Bin Analysis and scrap reduction.
• Track COGS and scrap cost trends; drive corrective actions.
• Facilitate weekly reviews with process owners.
• Implement and monitor Poka-Yoke systems.
• Lead root-cause analyses using 8D and 7QC tools.
• Execute product, process, layered and layout audits.
• Support SPC, MSA, PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plan activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and compliance with IATF16949.
