Job summary

Linde South Asia Services Pvt. Ltd. in India is seeking a Sr Engineer for Operations and Mechanical Maintenance.

The role focuses on daily field work, instrumentation and electrical issue inspection, and coordinating corrective actions with reliability teams. You will manage DPRs, LOTO, PTW, and maintenance workflow for rotary equipment. The position requires 7–8 years of mechanical engineering experience, with ASU experience and commissioning exposure.

Qualifications

• ASU experience in operations and maintenance.
• Experience with plant commissioning in ASU units.
• Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily field routine jobs and inspect instrumentation and electrical issues.
• Coordinate with reliability team to highlight issues and take corrective actions.
• Update in EAM book and report in LiDAP.
• Oversee day-to-day plant operation and production preparation DPR.
• Manage maintenance activities in the field and ensure LOTO and PTW compliance.
• Handle spare procurement and vendor management; operate SAP/SRM systems.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role, you will be responsible for participating in daily field routine jobs and inspection of instrumentation and electrical issue. Also, during any abnormalities highlight the issue with reliability team and take corrective actions. Updating in EAM book & reporting in LiDAP.
• Further, you will be responsible for day-to-day plant operation, production etc. preparation DPR.
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for any maintenance activities in the field, discussed with the maintenance people, identify the hazard related to that job, purging (if required), marking that line/ equipment’s in P&ID, maintaining LOTO system for isolation after zero energy verification and then after PTW issued. All mechanical maintenance of rotary equipments (Centrifugal compressor, pump, turbine, valves etc).
• Moreover, you will be responsible of different PT, FT calibration and record keeping.
• Additionally, you will be responsible for vendor management.
• In this role you will be responsible for spare procurement. Handling of SAP and SRM.
• Further you will be responsible for maintaining all safety standards.

• You have a graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering with seven to eight (7-8) years’ experience with experience in ASU
• ASU plant commissioning experience unit is required
