Job summary

Prompt Engineering in Gujarat seeks a seasoned QA leader to supervise quality assurance across flameproof enclosures, light fittings, and electrical panels, ensuring compliance with key standards.

The role drives end-to-end product certification with PESO, ATEX, IECEx, BIS and CE, coordinating with external labs and regulatory bodies to secure approvals, maintain accurate QMS records and technical files, and uphold traceability across all certified products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of QA/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with explosion-proof equipment preferable.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC team to ensure flameproof enclosures, light fittings, and panels meet quality standards.
• Drive product certification with PESO, ATEX, IECEx, BIS and CE.
• Coordinate with external labs (CIMFR, ERTL, Karandikar) for testing and approval.
• Ensure IS/IEC 60079 series compliance for explosive atmospheres.
• Oversee inbound, in-process, and final inspections including hydro-testing and dimensional checks.
• Maintain ISO 9001 QMS records, technical files and compliance documentation.
• Investigate NCs and customer complaints, implementing CAPA.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Control: Lead the QC team to ensure all manufactured flameproof enclosures, light fittings, and electrical panels meet stringent internal and external quality standards.
• Product Certification: Spearhead the end-to-end product certification process with regulatory bodies (e.g., PESO, ATEX, IECEx, BIS, and CE).
• Testing & Compliance: Coordinate with external testing laboratories (such as CIMFR, ERTL, or Karandikar Laboratories) for product testing and approval.
• Standards Adherence: Ensure all products strictly comply with IS/IEC 60079 series standards for explosive atmospheres.
• Inspection Management: Oversee raw material (inward), in-process, and final dispatch inspections, including hydro-testing and dimensional checks.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive ISO 9001 quality management system (QMS) records, technical files, and compliance documentation for all certified products.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate non-conformances (NCs) and customer complaints, implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
