You will oversee HVAC, boilers, chillers and utility equipment, ensure GMP compliance, coordinate with production, quality and validation teams, manage spare parts and documentation, and contribute to energy saving and cost optimization initiatives.

Qualificações

• B.Tech or BE in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and documentation.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing mechanical systems and equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of pharmaceutical production equipment such as HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, compressors, and utility systems.
• Ensure smooth functioning of mechanical equipment in manufacturing and production areas.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and validation teams for equipment efficiency and process improvements.
• Handle equipment installation, qualification, and documentation.
• Analyze mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and vendor coordination.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and cost optimization projects.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical plant machinery and utilities.
